Will we let them sit at ease in Zion while certain judgment is visible from the watchtower? Should we not cry out to them: Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light. (Eph. 5:14) Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. (2 Cor. 13:5) Make your call and election sure. (2 Peter 1:10) Understand that this is not a call for ministers or laypeople to become the judges of others, but to put away the belief in and proclamation of a superficial and powerless gospel that is granting assurance to millions, making them resistant against a biblical gospel and sealing their eternal condemnation. We must learn to console and assure the weakest saint who is broken over his many sins, but we must also learn to warn the false convert whose life is a barren and fruitless tree and whose settled manner of living is a contradiction to the gospel.

A muscular, unelected Supreme Court enforcing a “living Constitution” that conveniently reflects the prejudices of the elites, without concern for the vagaries of elections and popular sentiment, represents a particularly intrusive form of elitism.

Prayer for revival will prevail when it is accompanied by radical amendment of life; not before. All-night prayer meetings that are not preceded by practical repentance may actually be displeasing to God. “To obey is better than sacrifice.”

Critical Theory, applied to the law, is little more than mob rule and anarchy; like everything else it touches, it is the negation of what it purports to examine.

Good Physician, here is scope for Thee; come and manifest Thy healing power! There are many of us who have looked unto Jesus and are lightened, but we do confess that our faith was the gift of God. We had never looked with these blear eyes of ours to that dear cross, unless first the heavenly light had shone, and the heavenly finger had taken the thick scales away.

By taxing and parceling out more than a third of what Americans produce, through regulations that reach deep into American life, our Ruling Class is making itself the arbiter of wealth and poverty.

Labour to mortify your affections, and to get your will melted into the will of God: as the winds are to the sea, so are the affections to the soul of man: so long as the sea is hurried with the wind, it hath no rest or quiet; and what is the reason that our hearts are no more calmed and quieted, but because we have not yet resigned up our wills to the will of God?

This perverse mixture of government authoritarianism and corporate profits is the prevailing form of organization in American society today. We are not a nation dominated by corporations, nor are we a nation dominated by government. We are a nation dominated by corporations and government together, in partnership, against the interests of individuals, society, and ultimately our freedoms.
